Learn Ha’son’s Truth



On April 24, 2007, Ha'son Cleveland was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole for two crimes he did not commit: First Degree Murder and Conspiracy to Commit Murder of his beloved girlfriend Ebony Brown.


Two women confessed to the murder.

The Story of Ha’son Cleveland 



This is a short documentary made possible by the Making an Exoneree Program in collaboration with Georgetown University and UC Santa Cruz. This is a film about a man whose time and justice has been robbed for 18 years. 




Making an Exoneree is a program and course where undergraduate students from Georgetown University and University of California, Santa Cruz, research the innocence claims of wrongfully convicted people currently incarcerated in the United States with the goal of advocating their freedom.
